Our client is one of the largest supermarket chain stores in Africa. They are seeking to recruit a Finance Manager.
ROLE: Finance Manager - Ghana.
Duties
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure financial and administrative functions are executed according to laid down procedures and accounting standards
- Detailed analysis and reporting on key business components
- Management and Financial reporting
- Will be required to oversee and provide guidance to the following administrative functions:
- Buyers Administration
- Accounts Payable (Trade Creditors and Expenses)
- Banking and Takings
- Payroll
- Store Administration
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Ability to work in a highly pressurized environment with a sense of urgency
- Must be meticulous, detail orientated and have an analytical approach
- Operational capability and pragmatic mindset
- Ability and willingness to regularly interact and engage across all levels of the business
- Unwavering integrity
- SAP experience will be advantageous
- Chartered Accountant / B. Com Hons with Accounting as major subject
- 2 years in retail or FMCG sector
