ROLE: ICT Officer (RefIT1)

Duties

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Overall management of the institution’s technology infrastructure
Provides technical assistance to computer users and resolve hardware/software problems via telephone, e-mail, in-person or help-desk system
Responsible for security of data and information including confidentiality
Repairs and carries out maintenance of ICT networks

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Five (5) years related ICT work experience
Good planning and organizational skills
Good database and systems management
Experience in LAN and WAN administration
Web design and maintenance experience
Good communication skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or related qualification
Grade 12 Certificate
