CLIENT PROFILE: Our client is an international practice delivering on large and complex audit and tax engagements. To satisfy their planned growth, they seek to recruit a suitably qualified individual to join their practice for the Kitwe office.   ROLE: Tax Consultant   Provide advice about taxation legislation and undertake related accounts administration on behalf of clients in conjunction with the Tax Manager.

Duties
  RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide commercially-focused tax advice and tax services to a wide range of clients who operate in all sectors of the economy. Work continually to help ensure that clients make the best business decisions in the light of fiscal change and development. Monitor and anticipate changes to tax legislation and respond quickly with advice specific to clients’ particular commercial requirements. Calculate tax liability, ensuring compliance is completed speedily and efficiently, and submitting tax returns and associated documents by the appropriate deadlines.   KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Must have a ZICA recognized qualification with at least four (04) years of tax experience. Must have sound knowledge and experience of Zambian tax laws coupled with general accounting principles. Must enjoy constantly researching and analysing problems and have an ability to communicate complex pieces of information in a simple and easily understood manner. Must have excellent written, interpersonal and project management skills.
