CLIENT PROFILE

Our client is a corporate body established under the Laws of Zambia.  They are looking for a Secretary who is self motivated, able to use their initiative and be happy to complete many different tasks within the office.

ROLE

SECRETARY

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Type from shorthand notes or manuscript, letters, memoranda, tables, reports and other documents of a routine and confidential nature.
  • Receive, place, filter and convey telephone call and tactfully screen visitors.
  • Order and keep a reasonable supply of office stationery and other requisites to facilitate movement of correspondence and production of documents.
  • Make internal and external travel and accommodation arrangements.
  • Assist the Executive Assistant in maintaining a logical and systematic filing system.

 

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Full Grade 12 School Certificate.
  • Advanced Secretarial Certificate, 120/60 wpm shorthand and typing.
  • Five (5) years relevant work experience in a busy office.
  • Working knowledge of computers in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent Personal organization
  • Initiative and ability to work under pressure.
