Our Client has been delivering high quality projects and business solutions in the field of agriculture as well as various other sectors in Zambia since 1963. They now seek a dynamic Sales Specialist to join their team.

ROLE TITLE

FLEET AND LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

QUALIFICATIONS

• Full Grade 12 Certificate
• Diploma in Transport and Logistics.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

FLEET MANAGEMENT

• Managing the fuelling of the client’s vehicles and ensuring that the internal controls for Fuelling of vehicles are adhered to
• In charge of developing internal controls to safeguard against abuse of vehicles and theft of fuel
• Ensure that motor vehicles are in road worthy conditions
• Effective supervision of Drivers 
• Liaison with the motor vehicle garages
• Supervise motor vehicle repairs that are done in house
• In charge of motor vehicle insurance
• In charge of motor vehicle licenses including fitness

LOGISTICS

• Effective follow up of imports to ensure that goods arrive in good time

WORK RELATIONSHIP:

Reports to the Finance Manager and works closely with The Crop Protection Manager and Irrigation Manager.

IMPORTANTS CONTRIBUTIONS AND OUTCOMES:

• Effective management of the Client’s fleet;
• Effective and efficient management of logistics including Imports and Exports.
