Our client, a distributor of Toyota automotive products in Lusaka and the Copper-belt is one of the contributors to Toyota’s worldwide growth. Today, Toyota occupies the pre -eminent position of undisputed leadership in terms of having the largest number of vehicles on the road globally. They seek to employ a self driven and energetic professional to fill the position of Sales & Marketing Executive.

 

The Role

Reporting to the Director you will be responsible developing, and directing the marketing efforts to customers, prospects and general public providing them with convenience, choice and the highest standards of service.

Qualifications and Experience

  1. Must have a Diploma in Sales and Marketing or related field from a reputable institution;
  2. A minimum of 3 -4 years experience within spare parts operations, preferably at an automotive environment;
  3. Thorough understanding of marketing dynamics and marketing platforms;
    Ability to develop and maintain strong networks with customers and prospects;
  4. Must have excellent skills in computers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Enhance service branding image by way of PR, POP, Banner, Display stands, Sign boards, Leaflets;
  2. Conduct Web marketing, Tele marketing and other innovate and cost effective initiatives;
  3. Improve service business relative to inflow, revenue per order and other income streams;
  4. Develop and implement seasonal campaigns based on market study;
  5. Create customized packages to suit market demand;
  6. Develop and promote value added services;
  7. Develop and implement business promotional marketing activities;
  8. Initiate service retention improvement activities;
  9. Develop and understand market analysis and competition tracking by way of collating data for use in strategic  marketing activities;
  10. Develop and maintain management information systems;
  11. Undertake business generation activities on the Copperbelt and other regions.
