The Board of Governors is therefore pleased to Invite applications ex the position of Head Teacher for the Secondary sector who will be capable to pursue the vision, drive the vision of the school and inculcate the set values in the school community. To be considered for short listing the applicants must meet the following criteria:

Professional Qualification

1. A Bachelors’ Degree with Education
2. A Masters’ degree in Education will be an added advantage

Relevant Experience

1. 5 or more years experience in a similar position
2. Computer literate

Main Duties and Result Areas

1. Setting the tone and discipline in the school for the realization of the vision, mission and shared values of the school.
2. Ensuring the delivery and supervision Of the approved curriculum and co-curricular programmes of the school.
3. Participating in the drawing up of the school budget and its execution.
4. Being accountable for stocks and stock allocation in the Secondary School
5. Maintaining the buildings and gardens of the school in good stead
6. Maintaining health and safety regulations of the School
7. Being in-charge of the human resources at the Secondary sector
8. Working closely with other co-operating partners such as Examinations Council of Zambia, ISAZ, Relevant Associations etc. in the provision of education and co-curricular programmes for the Secondary School sector
9. To provide curriculum instruction leadership and provide the opportunities for continuing professional development for teachers
10. To ensure continuous performance improvement through monitoring and evaluation
