Presently they are the market leaders in their area of operations.  The Company has total estimated reserves of 140 million tonnes spread over 1070 hectares.  The company uses modern eco-friendly mining practices and is playing a vital role in improving health and education standards as well as infrastructure and community development. Our client now seeks to employ a Senior Manager Corporate Affairs.

About the Job

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer the Senior Manager Corporate Affairs will:

• Advise the Chief Executive Officer on statutory changes and requirements to be met locally;
• Oversee all operations at the Lusaka Office;
• Coordinate all issues of a corporate nature;
• Liaise with the respective Government Ministries and various institutions for negotiations, incentives, agreements, permissions and licenses;
• Be responsible for legal matters of the Company;
• Be responsible for all corporate communication activities;
• Coordinate immigration issues and
• Coordinate Board Meetings.

About You

You will possess the following:

• Full Grade 12 School Certificate or equivalent;
• Degree in Business Administration or professional qualification such as Chartered Institute of Secretaries;
• Post graduate qualification such as MBA will be an added advantage
• Have excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills
• Have excellent attention to detail;
• Be of mature disposition;
• Have excellent computer skills;
• Have 10 years’ post qualifying experience in dealing with corporate matters and
• Be a member of a relevant professional body
