We are looking for the One!


LPCL is supporting its client, a blue chip multinational, located in Southern Province, with hiring of a competent and qualified Hospitality and Lodge Manager to manage its cluster of lodging facilities (guesthouses and high profile residential suites).



Role Purpose:



Delivers very high standards of hospitality and housekeeping services at company guest houses, Director’s Villa and Executive Accommodation.



Duties


Key responsibilities:

  • Housekeeping and up keeping all guest houses and accommodation;
  • Managing all housekeeping staff as well as all chefs/catering staff;
  • Managing the catering and serving of the guests and employees at all facilities;
  • Organizing special events and dinners/cocktails for high profile guests;
  • Keeping an inventory of all items / furniture / furnishings and requisitioning for items;
  • Coordinating corporate guests’ accommodation and ensuring that all facilities and necessary requisites are available at all times;
  • Ensuring guest rooms and kitchen areas meet health and safety including regulatory standards and;
  • Training staff and updating them on the current trends in the catering and hospitality industry.



Key requirements:

  • Experience in guest relations coupled with commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry;
  • Ability to find creative solutions taking ownership for duties and tasks assigned;
  • Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Flexible with the ability to manage confidentiality;
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills and;
  • Strong computer skills in Ms Word, Excel, PowerPoint



Work Experience and credentials:

  • 10 years’ experience in similar roles at Four/Five star hotels /Premium Safari Lodges last 4 years in independently handling the overall responsibilities;
  • Degree in Administration, Hotel / Hospitality Management or relevant field
  • Member of a professional hospitality institute.
