INDOOR SALES EXECUTIVE
Our client, in the logistics industry, seeks to employ a competent and qualified INDOOR SALES EXECUTIVE
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB: To undertake indoor sales and sell the company's services which include express domestic and international courier, road freight, clearing services and air freight service.
Duties
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To gather competitor and customer data through indoor sales activities in order to create awareness of local market trends and competitors activities.
- To win different segments of customers through telephone in order to generate and meet revenue targets.
- To keep and retain customers through building lasting relationships and enhancing customer satisfaction through regular telephone contact.
- To perform all sales administration activities in order to maintain accurate information essential to sustain revenue and customer service and maximize the face-to-face selling time of our sales team.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Develop and grow their own client base.
- Assist outdoor on speaking to clients on certain clients as required based on call cycle.
- Check the clients daily for collections flagging and highlighting any issues.
- Maintain a list of clients every week who have been called for business as a reminder and push to use our company.
- Generate pod and other reports.
- Understand and integrate every report taking action giving feedback and through same and identifying leads both through the actual client or the sector a client might be in.
- Any other tasks assigned to you by management from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Diploma in Business Administration or Sales and Marketing
- Computer literacy with good command of written and spoken English
- 2 years sales experience in express, freight, or logistics industries
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets
- Member of Zambia Institute of Marketing or Chartered Institute of Marketing – (Required)
